Recommended Reads

There are a lot of Recommended Read lists available. Many schools have a bank of around 50 books per year group that they encourage pupils to read. This list will need topping up every year with a few titles being swapped for more recent books. Inevitably you will have some titles that have fallen to bits or got lost. We offer an annual top up of 6 books per year group.

These top up titles have been chosen to represent a variety of text types including non fiction, poetry, graphic novels, fiction and picture books that will interest that year group. Many of the books have won awards, or featured on a shortlist, and the others are likely too! All of the books have been published since March 2025. The packs have been discounted for all school/nursery orders only.

We can also supply you any books in print that are on other lists. Our lists are adaptable , and books can be ordered individually. We can also order more books if you want a larger selection.
