Book Banding Services

Book banding is an effective method that helps children select suitable levelled books, enhancing their reading experience with variety and engagement. You might consider purchasing pre-banded books or banding your own with professional assistance from Narnia Libraries, which specializes in book ordering for school libraries.  

Services:  

In-School: We can sort, catalogue, list, and label your reading scheme books, with labels provided.  

Virtual: We can band the books on your list remotely.  

Cost:  

In-School: To receive a quote, please send shelf pictures or arrange a visit.  

Virtual: We charge 30p per book based on your stock lists, and we also offer free stock gap recommendations.  

Note: It's important to remember that not all books need to be book banded. While book banding complements the reading for pleasure experience, it should not replace it.
